I understand this is a C60? Correct?

Assuming it is the dimenbsionb you want is called the CA (cab-to-axle) and for various bodies is can be different but an 8' body (or bed as you refer to it) is probably a dump body. That uses a 60" CA. That is the shortest CA that was available and still is for a Ford or Ram 350-5500. If it is for a platform body it maybe 9'-10' long. Just depends on the particular application. In 63' a 72", 84", 102", 114" and 120" were also available and probably 138" and maybe even 150". So tell us what the body is and I can steer you correctly.
