| | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,248 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,248 | I'm not to up on basecoat/clear, but I seem to recall they make a repair clear that melts into the old clear. Usually they say with basecoat/clear to repaint the panel or in your case probably 1/2 of the hood. I'm sure others on here have a better understanding of this.
