If I'm not going fast I'll open it pretty wide. However, the wind noise hurts my hears if I go pretty fast but I "adjust it" to where I can stand it. Wife puts a scarf around her head and with my straw had ton it really don't matter  ...and yes, as someone mentioned, it will "quaver" some at high speeds. | | |
