With the passing of my grandfather, I was given a truck that I fell in love with over 20 years ago. I am 30 years old and I just got my 1966 C10 running. Has a whole lot of work to be done to get it looking good cosmetically, but I drove it for the first time on July 4th, something I have waited to do for over 16 years. I am in the process of fixing a small gas leak, just a busted rubber line directly under the cab, but an easy fix. I will be coming here a lot for the guidance and advice of all of you here. I am looking to keep it completely original, except change the original color to chevy red with a white top and red on the inside. I will post pictures once I get it up here. I know it is a long journey, but I am want to have it back to its original glory, when my great-grandpa bought it new all those years ago, by the time it hits 50. Thank you in advance for any advice and help. David
