You must use that in rear ends. GL-5. You can also use it in the trans. You can use any of the multi viscosity as long as it covers the recomended weight. I use 85/140 in everything. These manuals are reprints from the originals. A lot has changed since then in lubricants & recomendations. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
