The Manual says the 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks left the factory with Hypoid Axel-SAE 90 in the axles & transmissions. The last paragraph says "all transmissions had SAE 90 Transmission or Mineral Oil Lubricant" Is this a misprint or is the Hypoid Axel-SAE 90 and SAE 90 Transmission or Mineral Oil Lubricant the same thing? I'm restoring a 1946 & this is of interest to me. Thanks, Harold Harold Is a restoration ever finished?
