It's nearly impossible to do a spot repair, especially with rattle can paint. You'll have an obviously visible spot where the new paint meets the old, and the Bondo edge will show through the paint unless it's feather-edged and primed over a much larger area. Paint the whole hood, and do it with professional-grade equipment, not rattle cans.
