Alternators have two main advantages....they are able to recharge the battery at idle and low rpms, and they have solid state built in regulators which also makes things much more reliable and trouble free. Basically you just need a mounting bracket, an alternator, and a DA Plug and you are in business. Send me your address and I will drop you a catalog in the mail.
