Use Blending solvent. I think you can buy it in an aerosol can now. Think automotive grade reducer in a can. I assume when you say you're using bondo for the dent, you are then going to prime, sand, block, then spray color. Once you pull paper off around edge of area where you've masked, spray the edges slightly with blending solvent to melt the edges into the original paint
