Maybe get a little trailer?
I have a big 2 ton 6400 in a distant building and it's sometimes hard to make a drive out to work on it, and have all the needed tools/resources in one place.
Pick-up truck works to transport big stuff, but you really don't need to un-load a trailer.
Everything from an engine, front clip, to cab, to fenders fits one way or another to my 5X8 trailer (and the neighbors hardly know its in the back yard if I use a camo tarp!). You can even work on the stuff while its still on the trailer.
