There's a ratty looking wire that goes up into the column, but what does it hook to and how do I take it all apart to replace it? Thanks in advance.. the wire will go up to the bearing mast ...click... Remove the bearing from the column and check the condition of the wire. You may be able to splice a good wire to it. | | |
