Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | with no movement on the gauge I'd say the gauge died, it should 'twitch' up to the end of the scale as soon as you turn on the key .... the best way to check the sender is to take a cold reading, put it in a pan of water to heat and watch it change .... if it's reading some resistance and it changes, it should make the gauge move, providing you've checked the wires for continuity
