Pre '68 Dave 'Bolter P Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 Snohomish,WA,USA	You will not need an adapter to bolt a T5 to your 49, they have the same bolt pattern. You will only need to drill the metric mounting holes in the trans to the required 1/2" size. See the USA in your vintage Chevrolet! My Blog
