The "B" terminal they are talking about is the terminal where the Positive battery cables connects to the starter.
I think you have a mis-print on your instructions......"I'm sure you do". If you connect a wire from the (-) terminal of the ammeter to the gauge (-) terminal your going to fry some wires. That (-) sign should be (+) sign. I think what they mean to say is connect the wire feeding your gauges to the side of the ammeter which will show a discharge when the gauges are on which would be the (-) side of the ammeter but connected to the (+)terminal. Then you'll connect a ground from (-) terminal of each gauge to the cab to ground the gauges.
