I just installed one on my 50 chevy truck this morning. I had to use some spacers to bring the carrier out from the bed panel about a 1-1/2" so the tire would fit right in the fender indent. I also had to relocate one of the mounting studs on the carrier because my tire is a 15" five lug GM patternt. And the orignal wheel and tire was a six lug pattern and 16".
