I like how you "modernized" it but it's cool that it still is a '50 and looks like it, in all it's glory.
I've decided to keep mine as original as possible... except I put an HEI kit in the distributor (I kept the points and condenser for just in case).
If the truck were to be a daily driver, I would definitley put modernized features for both comfort and safety.
Did you have to buff and polish much to get the paint surface evened out?
