Lead time for parts is a pain, the local auto part stores are absolutely useless.
you need to find a better store. i use one NAPA store for 97% of my stuff. in six years and four trucks i have only been able to stump them on two items and both were last week which was a set up on my part
from my 1940 one ton. the most time i ever had to wait was three days and mostly if i call in the morning its there by 2 pm. for other truck stuff that napa doesnt carry its jim carter.
