They will not work with the Runtz resistor. I havent tried it without the resistor yet and the 6 volt sending units are nearly impossible to find to accurately match the GMC gauges.
That just leaves one needed for the gas gauge.
Amps are amps regardless of voltage. It could be 1 volt or 100 and it wouldn't affect the amperage.
