I'm in the process of refacing the gauges on my 49 3600. I very carefully removed the odometer from the main assembly and followed the instructions on the refacing kit by removing the numbers. I noted where zero was on the black dial and how the white numbers aligned with the small aluminum clip. I also noted what the mileage was and what numbers were aligned with the aluminum clip before removing the numbers. When I spin the black dial I would think that when I reached the point near the zero (9), that it would spin the next dial to the left. It doesn't!! Now I'm not sure where I am and what I should do. I know I'm an idiot! Help.
