I wanted to put a radio in the glove compartment of my 70 chevy c-10. The only way I could get it to work is to the the red power wire from the original radio and hook it to (2) wires on my new radio. One (red)is supposed to be a constant pwer source and the other (yellow) was supposed to be linked to the ignition. The radio works but only when the engine is on or the key is set to "ACC'. I'm new at this and would appreciate it if anyone knows exactly how I should be hooking these wires up. Oh, I do have the ground connected properly.
