I used the stock manifolds on the truck I'm installing it in. Along with the lead off pipes.
Mines will be a cruiser, and will be quiet. Mufflers instead of glass packs.
I used the harness from the car for the pcm/ecm. Since I kept my original steering column, I'm mounting a switch to tell the ecm when the transmission is in gear.
I also had to provide a switch for the brake pedal to release the torque converter clutch when I apply the brakes.
We'll see if I have it right soon. I haven't driven it yet to see if it shifts correctly and if the converter clutch will release when it should.
But I sure like the way it sounds.
The only reason I'm doing this to mine is because my wife wants to drive it some, and shifting gears, pushing the floor starter on a hill, and other issues were a challenge to her. Plus... I'm hoping for better fuel mileage since I do use this truck for some trips.
