Well, I got tired of being told "they" couldn't insure my truck because it had been modified and returned my check to me. Then I've been told I could only drive it to shows/parades ect.
I said to heck with them. Went to State Farm, then to an apprasier approved by them. Got my apprasier, for free, and took it back to them with about 3 shots of my pickup. Insured for Agreed Value of apprasial, which was a good one, and I pay $129 every 6 months and I don't have to worry about IF I'm covered in case something happens and I drive when and where I feel like it. I do have all kinds of discounts with them, mulit car,home ect ect... and I get an extra discount because I've been with them over a certain period of time.(over 40 years for me) I've been in some very bad/serious accidents over the years and I can say nothing bad about State Farm. My entire family insures with them.
Rates depend on individual circumstances but for me I don't like anyone telling me where or when I can drive my truck...and I drive it quite a bit. I pay a little more but I sleep good at night.
I know we have talked about insurance a few times but its nice to see it come up again ever so often to see/hear what others are doing and where we're treated like the good folks we are!!
