That looks like a
Series 5000 truck air cleaner. I do not know what years that style was used (the picture at the link is for 1954 and says that there was some sort of change in 1954). The write-up also says that cleaner is "similar to the types used in the rest of the truck engines". You decide what the word "similar" means.
If you look closely at the two pictures in your webshots, I think they are not the same height. Are the two diameters the same?
