Is there something that will clean up the oil good enough for the epoxy to stick
The old standby is a strong solution of Trisodium Phosphate floor cleaner, soaked, scrubbed, and followed up by a good pressure washing. The trick is being able to find it- - - - -the tree-huggers have just about succeeded in banning the stuff altogether. I use it as a hot degreaser prior to gun bluing, and finding the powder in sufficient quantities to keep some on hand for my degreasing tanks is becoming a problem.
