Able Mabel;

Keep us posted. I have been a loyal USAA customer for 23 years and have always been thrilled with their coverage. I just got off the phone adding my new 58 Suburban to my policy. When I asked about collector type insurance (in an effort to get back some of my purchase price investment should something happen to the vehicle) I was referred to a "associate" insurance company. They agent from that company was very helpful but basically said all I could do was take it to an occasional car show and look at it and go oooohhh aaahhhh. I want to be able to use my truck as a truck, not just admire it in the driveway.

I can't believe there isn't some kind of middle ground. If I bought a late model used car for $8000 they wouldn't have any problem insuring it as a daily driver for full value if I elected full coverage. Why can't I do the same thing on my 58 Burb. I'll pay more everymonth, but I want to be able to drive it.

Anyway, please post when you work out your solution. I am very interested.

Thanks

Larry
