Remove the upper spring mount bolt. Loosen but do not remove the lower spring mount bolt. 2. Remove the two hinge bolts at the cab (not hood) on either side and let the hinge rest in the cab recess. 3. grab the hood from the front and lift up to disengage the spring mounts from the slots and carry the hood away.
All done by one person with adequate upper body strength. The hood remains in the open position the entire time all by itself.
