| | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 1,901 | I don't have extra hands when I need them so I did this work around using a ratcheting strap and a couple eye hooks. Remove the back hood bolt loosen the other. Next loosen the fender well bolts and remove the top one then loosen the other hood bolt carefully till the hinge spring has some of the tension off of it. It makes getting it off a lot easier. Once the springs are off you can adjust the tension on the strap till it takes the weight and then remove the rest of the bolts. one man hood removal system
