Looking for a 261 to put in my 54 3100. Any recommendations on what year(s) engine I should be looking for? Planning on swapping the 3 sp out for an automatic.
Also, any recommendations on upgrade to engine during the rebuild to get a bit more HP? Not looking to build a race engine, but since I'm going to rebuild it, I may as well try to squeeze a few more horses out of it.
