First, check out your ignition! The perfect carburetor and a poor iginition will dump lots of gas, and blow lots of black smoke.
If the ignition is working well (fat blue spark at the plugs), get the numbers from the carbs (3 or 4 digits ending with the letter S as in Sam) and give me a call during normal business hours. Before you call, see if you can remove one of the airhorns, and measure the fuel inlet (under the float) orifice.
