The tanks can be sucked dry. My old one was rusted out so bad it was pitiful....however you can see how the "pickup" tube is tacked to the bottom of the tank, I could also see this in two other tanks of which one was a new one. check this pic. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r19/LutherParris/52Panel/Fueltanks004.jpgas a footnote, the babble is just about 4 inches back from the pickup tube. It sits up about 1/8 inch off the bottom of the tank so no gas is "caught" behind the baffle. | | |
