It should noted that some of the blanket statements about differences between 216s and 235s are not correct for all 235s.
235s came out in 1941 and the intake manifolds were the same through 1949.
The 216 and 235 exhaust manifolds were the same from 41-48, And the same but different exhaust manifold in 1949.
