| | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 58 Member | | Member Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 58 | Tom, usually you have to push them down to seat them in the cap and rod. You should be able to do this easily by hand. Also you should torque them with plasti-guage to check tolerances before final assembly and put some sort of break in lubricant on before running.
