I am finally starting to put my engine back together and was checking everything out when I noticed that the Connecting rod bearings did not seem to fit into the conncting rod or the end cap. Is it common for these to sit high in the connecting rod until torqued down? When I place them on the connecting rod and end cap and look at it from the side, it looks like a little smile smile with between an 1/8 of an inch and a 1/16 of an inch between the two surfaces. What do you think? I dont want to ruin this before I get started.

Thanks for the help.
