Hi all -
I've recently rebuilt a 235 distributor. I thought I would give is a simple test with my continuity testor. With the cap on, should I be able to put one lead where the coil plugs in (center) and another lead in any of the plugs and get a complete circuit at points when I turn the shaft?
I'm curious if the roter actually touches the contacts in the cap, or does it just arc because its so close?
