3B, thanks. Do you know if the bearing hub "extension" which is bolted to the outside of the drum, should theoretically be removable if I have removed all of the
nuts? I'm just wondering if it is essentially rust welded to the brake drum. I have
removed the nuts and have tapped and torqued a bit on it in this process and it shows no sign of breaking loose. I know that is a different problem than the one I
started with but, as they say, "Curious Minds Want to Know." I have sprayed more
TriFlow into the adjusters to - fingers crossed - back them off some. If they will not move for love nor money I may be forced to 1) eat spinach and then, 2) use a puller or a slide hammer to bring the drum past the ridge on the old shoes. Unless anyone has a much better idea?????
