The brake pedal goes through the same hole of the cab regardless of manual or hydra-matic transmission. I honestly think that the clutch pedal is just removed from the pivot shaft that both pedals are mounted on and spaced and spring pressured as needed.
My suggestion would be:
If you are intent on going to a manual trans or a modern automatic, and being that you wanted to put a new floor pan in due to rust issues, I would sell the hydra-matic, linkage, and related parts, I would sell the H-M frame and or trade for an easier to find manual frame, I would sell the trans cover, and hope to offset the cost of the swap part of the project. Another angle to consider would be to look up user "yellosub", He has a business where they build a frame and brackets to put the A-D body on an S-10 frame. He may be interested in your parts in trade in part or whatever for his product line. He gets your H-M stuff, and you end up with the modern driveline and suspension that makes you happy...Just a thought. Check out his site and decide for yourself.
