I have a 55.1 GMC with a 284 and Hydra-Matic. The transmission needs a rebuild. The previous owner said the 2-3 shift would not work. I would rather have a manual, so I am going to put a T-5 in there. What does this conversion require? I would like to bundle everything related to the automatic and sell it to someone who would appreciate it more than me.
