Well, Leon, I am rethinking the Mr Gasket shifter. I've started seriously considering finding a factory 4-speed to install. I like the benefits of the granny low for parades. I also like the idea of 2-4 ("normal driving" gears) being synchronized. I'm afraid that it may be harder to find the transmission and everything needed to install it than the Mr Gasket item, but I think I will be happier with the results.
