| | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 47 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 47 | any pointers on how to get the parking brakes to work on a 50 1/2 ton. only one wheel is currently hooked up to the emergency brake but even when i push the emergency brake pedal with all my might, it does nothing to hold the truck even on a slight incline. i shortened the cable going to the brakes so it would do a better job but still nothing. i plan to install a cable for the second rear wheel soon if i can find the internal drum parts. i couldn't find much in the forum on this issue. have others encountered this problem and found a way to solve it. thank you.
