Whitedog 'Bolter W Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 IL	Your best bet would be using the 1 ton transmission, shorten the driveshaft and leave the rearend alone. Find a later model 1/2 ton rearend and swap it in. 1954 3600 Chevy Truck "The Fake Truck" In the Stovebolt Gallery More pix on Photobucket
