For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | At my Napa it's $92 and they said the shipping charge is due to the fact that it's not coming from their warehouse but rather directly from the dealer.
I would rather stick with parts I know work and fit my engine. Already made the mistake of ordering one from Eckler's prior to knowing there were different shaft lengths so I've got a cool door stop/paper weight.
I have no interest in cutting excess shaft lengths, etc. I'm a newbie and overwhelmed to begin with! Short shaft pumps are not manufactured. They are cut off standard pumps. If you order one from NAPA it will be another standard pump. If you already have one it is not a "doorstop". It is what you need to get your truck on the road again. | | |
