I would rather stick with parts I know work and fit my engine. Already made the mistake of ordering one from Eckler's prior to knowing there were different shaft lengths so I've got a cool door stop/paper weight.

I have no interest in cutting excess shaft lengths, etc. I'm a newbie and overwhelmed to begin with!

Short shaft pumps are not manufactured. They are cut off standard pumps. If you order one from NAPA it will be another standard pump. If you already have one it is not a "doorstop". It is what you need to get your truck on the road again.
