If you can get someone to rebuild it I would go that route. You would need the right tools to press the flange and cut the shaft on a new (rebuilt) one. If you are able to get it rebuilt please let us know and for how much. The bearings on my short shaft pump went out but I couldn't find a local shop that would rebuild it...I fortunately found another one on ebay.

There's always the option of getting an adapter plate to fit a 216 pump.
