The SM 420 has a 10-1/2" long case. The Input Shaft is 10-spline, 1-1/8" diameter with a 19/32" pilot tip and it sticks out 6-1/2" from the face of the case.
The output shaft can have a single band brake drum, a 2-shoe drum brake or no brake drum.
