53moneypit, i have no problem with tsc. my problem is with customer service at IR they dont care about their customers. they dont stock replacement parts and when you do get ahold of them they give you the run around. as far as the compressor it was a 1000 dollars and the advertised cfm is 17cfm. with the intercooler it would be right at the 20 i suspect. i did my research before buying i read every review on this compressor p/n at several retailers and only saw 1 bad review.no its not a commercial series compressor but it was the best compressor for the money. i did my research but you cant research attitudes of the companys employees. so i stick with my post " new air compreesor bought wrong brand" as far as there air tools my IR231 1/2 impact is 20 plus years old and going strong. thats one of the reasons i bought IR. later MO
