It will not flex enough to permanently deform. Don't weld anything to it while it is hanging as it will be welded to a slightly flexed shape, not the same as when it is on its wheels.
Paint should be flexible enough to withstand the (very slight) change in shape when you bring it down... Powder coat might crack at rivet joints.
