Here is where I would start: let it warm up, bring the idle speed up until it smooths, then adjust mixture screw for best idle speed. Then reset the idle speed screw for the idle that you like. If you have already done this then once it's running turn your distributor and see if it smooths. Check for vacuum leaks. If all is well there, I would recheck floats.
