Im just curious but if you drug that truck out of the woods and took it to a restoration shop and told them this is what you wanted the end product to be, how much would the bill be at the end. I don't know but I would think you could build that truck for way less than that, even if you paid the shop to do it all.
I agree with the use of the term restoration. I heard Mike Joy talk about a Ford p/up on Saturday and how nicely it was restored. It was a hot rod! the body had all kinds of alterations inside and out, under the hood, etc and a fancy paint job, chrome engine. I always thought restored meant back to or close to original.
I do think it is a beautiful truck though and wouldn't mind seeing it in my garage. I just wouldn't want to stroke the check someone paid for it.
