I've got a Mityvac and it works fine. The down side is having to open the system to keep enough brake fluid in it.
I also got a Motive Products pressure bleeder. It screws into the top of the master cylinder, fill the jug with brake fluid and then pump it with the hand pump. I have used it on a couple of trucks that have a hydrovac and had great results. On a conventional system its much faster than using the Mityvac.
