Okay, I won the bid and this is the description of what I bought...
"operable Carter YF carb, removed from a running GMC 270ci engine."
I need to get this to work on my 261 and my rochester B will be consigned to target practice!!!!
My first question is... Will I need to change the jets or anything else to optimize this for my 261? I was thinking that the CFM for a 270 should be very close to that of a 261, but I know zero about carbs, so???? I am hoping all I will need to do is clean it and kit it. Let me know.
