Pulled that carburetor and found out it is a Rochester Monojet (?)
Put on my fresh rebuilt Rochester B and got it to run, and idle, but the fan belt broke. That's turning into another story.
I had a hose run from the fuel pump outlet to a bucket on the front bumper to see if the fuel pump worked. After running for three to four minutes there was maybe a tablespoon in the bucket.
What's the best way to clean out the old 'behind the seat' tank? I've got a rebuilt fuel pump for it and will probably run it with rubber fuel lines for a little while. It isn't going far with no brakes, five tires and no charging system.
